Counselor-In-Training Applications are due by March 8th.
We have fun, rewarding leadership opportunities for high school juniors and seniors looking to serve God and strengthen their own faith.
Counselors-In-Training (CITs) are the backbone of LYFE Camp. They plan evening worship services, actively strive to help all campers feel welcomed and involved, serve as referrals and shoulders to lean on, serve as role models both at and away from camp, and so much more. This leadership role is one way for a junior or senior to change someone's life, including their own.
CIT applications are now available online. You're encouraged to download, review, and complete your application honestly and completely and return it on time to ensure you are eligible to be considered for a leadership space at LYFE Camp this year. The submission window is between March 1 and 11:59pm on March 8, 2010. Late applications will not be considered. Please understand juniors and seniors only attend LYFE Camp in a CIT role, so make sure to set yourself up for success and turn in the best application you can within the submission window.
CIT Applications will be made available from the Deans and on this website between February 1, 2010 and the application deadline, 11:59pm on March 8, 2010. Deans do not want to receive your application until after March 1 and will not accept applications after 11:59pm on March 8.

March 1-8, 2010 - Application Submission Window
Please only turn in your application during this window of time. We don't want it early because we want you to take time for reflection. However, please remember: late applications will not be considered.
March 6, 2010 - Question & Answer Session at the All-Camp Reunion (5:00pm-9:00pm)

Food, friends, games, videos, photos, hilarity, good times!
The Deans will also have a question and answer session during this time for CIT applicants.
March 15, 2010 - CIT staff announced (approximate date)
April 23, 2010 - Decision Hills Service Weekend (MANDATORY)
6:00pm - Depart from Excelsior UMC (881 Third Avenue, Excelsior, MN 55331)
$20 covers your food, lodging, and transportation, plus Saturday dinner on your own.
May 9, 2010 - Worship Planning Meeting (MANDATORY)
1:30pm-5:30pm at Richfield UMC (5835 Lyndale Avenue S., Minneapolis, MN 55419)
This planning session is focused on putting together amazing worship services that will have tremendous impact on our campers. By planning ahead, we'll save stress and do great work.
June 6, 2010 - Week I Final Planning Meeting (MANDATORY for Week I CITs)
12:30pm-4:30pm at Excelsior UMC (881 Third Avenue, Excelsior, MN 55331), Pot Luck Lunch
This final session for Week I CITs has us signing up for jobs and having a final chance to go over details before arriving at Decision Hills that Saturday.
June 13, 2010 - Week II Final Planning Meeting (MANDATORY for Week II CITs)
