Be a leader, make a difference.

We have fun, rewarding leadership opportunities for high school juniors and seniors looking to serve God by helping campers learn about themselves while strengthening their own faith.

Counselors-In-Training (CITs) are the backbone of LYFE Camp. They plan and lead evening worship services, lead games, songs, and crafts, actively strive to help all campers feel welcomed and involved, serve as referrals and shoulders to lean on, live as role models both at and away from camp, and much more. Never been to LYFE Camp? We will train you!

This leadership role is a powerful way for a junior or senior to change someone's life, including their own.

                The application period is closed.

                CIT Meeting Schedule:

CITs meet five times in preparation of LYFE Camp to better know each other and themselves, learn how to work with our campers, build meaningful worship experiences, set up expectations and responsibilities, and offer service to the site where the ministry is held.

We understand CITs have busy lives. We also know it takes a lot of hard work before camp for it to succeed. Therefore, we ask all CITs to please plan to attend as many meetings as possible. Please list the following dates at the bottom of your application and indicate which meetings you will attend and which, if any, you will not attend (and the reason why).

Thank you for doing everything you can to attend all of the meetings you can and thank you for letting us know in advance which ones will be a challenge for you to attend.

Take this time to discern why being a CIT is important to you. Reflect on how you live your life and ponder what you're doing to be a stand-up role model for campers back home away from camp. This way, you'll know what you need to do in order to be ready to apply to be a CIT and do your best.

Late applications will not be considered.

Please respect the submission guidelines and set yourself up for success by turning in the best application you can within the submission window. Also, please understand that juniors and seniors only attend LYFE Camp in a CIT role, never as campers.

Download, review, and complete the application honestly and completely and return it on time to ensure you are eligible to be considered for a leadership space at LYFE Camp.

Don't forget that including your commitment to the below meetings is part of your application!
